This campground is a great destination for those looking for something off the beaten path but still close to Cape May and Wildwood. It is surrounded by lots of nice trees and two ponds, where people can walk and fish. The seasonal folks decorate their lots with charm, character and LEDs, making for a great walk at night. The campground also has two fairly good-sized pools and the few times it was driven by on warm days, it was not crowded at all. The staff is friendly and the park is very secure, with gate cards necessary to enter. Kids can ride their bikes freely until 8pm as cars do not go fast in the campground. However, there is a tremendous amount of traffic to reach the beach and there are a lot of bugs due to the stagnet water. The hours to the pool are only from 11am - 7pm.

Acorn Campground is an age-qualified resort located in New Jersey. The campground allows pets and offers RV campsites and rental accommodations. Check-in time is 3 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m. Guests can request early check-in or late check-out for an additional fee. The campground offers amenities such as one date change per reservation, and nearby RV resorts. The campground has implemented enhanced health and safety measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Guests must adhere to all property rules and health advisories issued by relevant governmental and health authorities. The campground is not responsible for any exposure to COVID-19.
