Jugtown Mountain is a run-down campground located within a one hour drive of Lehigh Valley, PA. It is one of only four campgrounds open year round in the area. The campsites have no sewer connections, but there is a centrally located, back-in dump station. The campground is pet-friendly and the staff is friendly and helpful. The roads into the campground have lots of potholes and there is a lot of equipment and vehicles being worked on. The sites are not level, but electric and water pressure is adequate. There is a free honey wagon to empty tanks. The pool is well groomed and the campground is quiet. The bathrooms are not clean and the water pressure is low and has a bad smell. Despite the run-down condition, it is a great place for an overnight stay.
