This military base campground is a great option for long-term stays, with 8 sites available for up to two weeks at a time. The full hookups offer 30A and water, and a dump station is available onsite. The gravel sites are level and all back in, with a nice view of a grass area and a small lake. Mosquitos can be prevalent, as the base does not spray for insects. There is no host, and the bathrooms are locked, although they may open at some point. The base also offers a BX and commissary available to DAV, but most recreational activities are for active duty only. The office staff is helpful and friendly, and the price is unbeatable for military beneficiaries.
