Pine Cone campground is a beautiful, wooded campground with ample space for all RVs and is family orientated. It has a nice pool, volleyball court, activity building, a few cabins, large tent field and RV storage. The promised pull through, full hook up sites are available, but there are too many low branches and ruts in the dirt roads. The electric hook up is problematic and the water pressure is low. The WiFi connection is good most of the time, but cable TV and internet are virtually unusable. The washers and dryers cost $3.25 each to use, but the machines do not accept coins and there is no one around to help. The office staff is engaging, but the manner in which they communicate is rude and unfriendly. The laundry room, bathroom, and showers are filthy. It is a good location to visit the Jersey shore, Six Flags Great Adventure, or to sight see in the area. However, given other area choices, visitors may not want to return to Pine Cone.
