Wippoorwill Campground is a wooded campground located in south Ocean City, NJ. It is a great location for access to all of the beaches in South Jersey while still being a short ride from the AC Expressway. The campground offers beach tag rental, an Olympic size pool open to the public (for a fee), a great playground, well-equipped campstore, and a SUPERIOR arts and crafts program with a patient and friendly teacher. Unfortunately, there are no pull-throughs in the campground, and due to the trees and narrow roads, it is difficult to back in without major effort and possible damage to the coach. There are also drunken frat boys gone wild that make it impossible to sleep and the seasonal campers are afraid to complain. Despite this, there is still a pleasant stay to be had, and the staff is friendly and accommodating.
