This campground is a great spot for RVers and families looking for a seasonal spot in a community obsessed with American flags. It has a small swimming area, playground, and activities planned for the summer. The downside is that the majority of the campground is seasonal campers with permanent setups, and there is no sewer hookup or cell service. The lake is beautiful, but there is a lot of sand and muck, and there were three large cotton mouth snakes spotted on the coastline. The wifi is horrible, and the quiet times are a joke. The sewer was full and backed up when it came time to leave. Despite these drawbacks, it is a nicely run campground and a great home base for seeing the Jersey Shore, Atlantic City, and Camp May.

Timberline Lake Camping Resort is a family-owned and operated campground in New Jersey, offering a tranquil camping experience to families. Boasting 130 acres and 185 shaded and wooded campsites, the campground is located in the heart of the Jersey Pine Barrens, close to Atlantic City and the Jersey Shore. The campground offers a true 'back to nature' vacation in a relaxing and peaceful setting within minutes of bustling activity. Guests can swim, fish, hike, and canoe in the stocked lake for catfish, pickerel, blue gill, and bass. The campground also offers amenities such as free WiFi, clean restrooms, hot showers, laundry facility, camp store, dump station, portable dumping service, free expanded cable TV, gated entry, large swimming pool, lake swimming, dog park and beach, canoe and kayak rentals, free use of Ocean City beach tags, after-hours security, game room and arcade, recreation field for sports, free use of sports equipment, horseshoe pits, basketball court, volleyball courts, playgrounds, theme-based weekend activities, hayrides, and more.
