We had a great time and will definitely be back. Bakers Acres Campground is a family-run campground in Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey, that has been in operation for over 50 years. It is close to LBI and a short drive to Smithville, and offers a variety of amenities including a swimming pool, sports courts/fields, family-friendly activities, a camp store, and bath and laundry facilities. The campsites are large, level, and bordered with trees for semi-privacy and shade. There is a nature trail, playground, and goldfish pond near the office and store. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making it feel like home. It is conveniently located near Tuckerton Seaport and Long Beach Island, and the campground is peaceful and quiet. The bathrooms are clean and private, and the camp store is cozy and has all the necessary items. There is no security guard or gate, but the campers are friendly and drive cautiously. The only downside is that the sites are sandy dirt, which can create a bit of a mess after the rain. All in all, Bakers Acres is a great campground with plenty of amenities and a welcoming atmosphere.

Baker’s Acres Campground is a family-friendly campground located in the New Jersey Pinelands. The campground offers over 300 large and shaded campsites set amidst 60 acres of mountain laurel and natural splendor. The outstanding recreational amenities include a wide range of organized activities and special seasonal events, in addition to swimming in the large pool. The traditional annual events and loyal base of return campers combine to earn Baker’s Acres its motto as the campground “where friends are made for life.” The campground is pet-friendly and offers a range of amenities including a convenience store, free DVD/video library, arcade room, pavilion, playground, ball field, horseshoes, volleyball, full hookups, clean modern restrooms, free hot showers, laundromat, RV supplies, dumping station, propane, firewood, and ice. The campground has made many recent improvements including upgraded water/electric/cable hook-ups, camping cabins and cottages, newly renovated bathhouse facilities, widened roadways, improved site access, site enlargements, upgraded reservation and check-in system, enlarged picnic area around pool and recreation hall, and additional parking at the office.
