The campsites are extra-large with pull-throughs and back-ins, and utilities are reliable throughout the stay with strong water pressure. The park provides OTA TV stations and satellite receivers throughout the park for entertainment. Verizon service and internal Wi-Fi work well without any issues. The landscape of the Eagle Creek RV Resort is serene and quiet, and it provides a heavy population of seasonal guests. The cool temperatures in the area are ideal for camping, and it is advisable to make reservations ahead of time. The campsite is overlooked by an old ski lodge which is now converted into cabins and a defunct ski lift. The lack of night-lighting allows for an incredible view of the night sky, and the absence of organized social activities puts guests in control of their time. Eagle Creek RV Resort is a private campground nestled on 33 acres in southern New Mexico. The campground offers a variety of sites ranging from open to wooded, and is home to an abundance of birds and wildlife, including deer, elk, and a herd of horses. The old wheel house and chair lift from the former ski resort add a unique flair to the forest scenery, and hiking trails lead to the top of the mountain.
