Coronado Campground in Bernalillo, NM is a well-maintained and peaceful campground with great facilities. The unique shelters are a standout feature. The staff is friendly and the bathrooms are clean. Its conveniently located between Albuquerque and Santa Fe with beautiful views of the Sandia Mountains and the Rio Grande. Although there is some road noise, it doesnt seem to be too much of a problem. The only inconvenience is that some sites may require blocks for leveling. The park is near restaurants, a gas station, and a casino. There is also a historic adobe settlement, Coronado Historical Site, on the same road. Its a great place for a short stay or overnight stop and is worth another visit.
