What others are saying about this campground
Carlsbad KOA Holiday is a decent RV park that is conveniently located just 25 minutes north of Carlsbad city, providing easy access to the Carlsbad Caverns and Sitting Bull Falls. While there are not many activities to enjoy at the campground or surrounding area, the staff are friendly and the sites are well-maintained, albeit unavoidably dusty due to the desert conditions. RVers will appreciate the wide, level gravel sites that include a paver patio and fire pit, as well as the easy ingress and egress for larger rigs. The bathrooms and showers are clean, but the WiFi connectivity is poor. Though the campground offers activities, it doesnt feel like a holiday KOA. The laundry room is a bit expensive at $2.50-3.00 per wash and 25 cents for five minutes of dryer time. There was a morning odor emanating from the oil wells nearby.
