Carlsbad RV Park & Campground in Carlsbad, NM is a full-service campground with many amenities. The location is excellent for visiting Carlsbad Cavern National Park, and nearby Walmart is convenient for supplies. The staff is helpful, and the bathroom and shower facilities appear to be newly renovated and very clean. Pet areas are available, but some dogs may struggle with weeds and burrs. While the majority of sites are full sun, some have shade provided by large trees. A premium lot under a shade tree was mentioned as a highly desirable spot. However, some sites are occupied by long-term workers, and trash bins often overflow, and some full-time residents do not pick up after their pets. The park has four small dog parks. The laundry facilities are clean, and all the machines work. The pool may be a little sketchy and cold, but the indoor pool is available. Although it might be slightly more expensive than other campsites, it is worth the price for all the amenities - laundry, pool, clean shower facilities, and WiFi.

Carlsbad RV Park is a gated community situated in South East New Mexico, featuring RV sites, tent sites, and rustic cabins. The park is close to the Carlsbad Caverns, Living Desert State Park Zoo, Flume, Guadalupe Mountains, Pecos River, Roswell and many other attractions. The park contains over 200 RV sites, and the maximum site length is 100 feet. The park is open for nightly reservations, and reservations are suggested. The gates close promptly at 6 pm MST, and the speed limit is strictly enforced for the safety of guests and children. The park offers Tesla and Smart Car charging with standard 30 and 50 amp plugs. The park is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
