What others are saying about this campground
Chosa Campground provides a basic gravel parking area with no amenities. It is a safe place to park overnight for those looking for a place to rest while boondocking. The area is level with gravel, offering easy access for larger class A vehicles. It is a great stopover for those planning a trip to the Carlsbad Caverns NP and Guadalupe NP as it is a convenient midpoint location. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful sunsets despite the occasional breezy weather due to its location on top of a hill. The area is currently very clean with a few fire pits and a trash receptacle available. Those who plan to stay should bring their own water and plan accordingly as facilities are not available. The campground is a great spot for those looking for a place to park while visiting the NPs or wanting to boondock for free. It is a large open gravel lot with space for 20-30 RVs easily. It provides a peaceful and quiet escape with beautiful scenery, making it a great place to unwind and relax.
