Coyote Keeths RV Park in Clayton, NM is a great little park, perfect for a one night stopover as youre going to or from other destinations. The sites are wide and long, easily acquired, with grass between them. They are generally level and great if you do not need to unhook your vehicle. The park is self check-in, and there is a phone number to call or text the owners if needed. The park is in a quiet area, with a train that passes through, but its not bothersome. The sunsets are breathtaking, while the rainstorms in the wide-open space are exciting to watch. Walking the parks 40+ acres can be enjoyable, as you might see some folks out on the tractor, farm homes with farm animals, and flowers growing out of rocks. This park is also pet-friendly, and your pups can enjoy exploring the bushes, chasing tumbleweeds, watching birds, butterflies, and even jack rabbits. The park has no amenities, so keep that in mind. By mid-afternoon, most of the overnighters start coming in to set up. Without any employees to help, security lights are an excellent feature, but they are not so great for star gazing. The water pressure is almost 80 psi, plenty for your shower. Wi-Fi works, and the owners place cones on the reserved sites, and you can put your money in an envelope and drop it in the night drop. Overall, the Coyote Keeths RV Park in Clayton, NM is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay, where you can enjoy a brief stopover and appreciate the scenery.
