From The Campground
Apache Campground is located in the Lincoln National Forest and offers 25 sites for tent and RV camping. The mixed conifer/aspen forest sites at 8,900 feet provide an escape from summer heat on the desert floor. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, parking, toilets, central garbage depository, and interpretive trails. Tents and RVs up to 30 feet in length are permitted, but no hook ups are available. The campground is open from mid-May to mid-September and is first come, first serve with no reservations available. The fee is $28 per night for 1-family unit and $9 per night per extra vehicle. Discounts are available for National Parks Lifetime Senior and Access passes. The stay limit is 14 days and RVs over 30 feet are not allowed. Potable water and vault toilets are available on site.
