From The Campground
Pines Campground is located in the Lincoln National Forest and offers 24 campsites, including 21 single units, 2 double units, and 1 triple unit site. The campground is surrounded by Douglas and white fir forest, providing a cool escape from the desert heat. Amenities include tables, fire rings, parking spurs, gray water sumps, toilets, and a central garbage depository. Tents are allowed, and RVs are limited to a maximum length of 35 feet. The campground offers access to local area trails, including the popular Osha Trail (T10), which offers stunning views of the Mexican Canyon Trestle and Tularosa Basin. The campground is open from May 12 to September 5 and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Fees range from $28 to $50 per night, with discounts available for National Parks Lifetime Senior and Access passes. Showers, RV dump stations, potable water, and firewood are available for an additional fee.
