Scenic Canyon RV Park is a small adults only park located seven miles away from Cloudcroft, NM. It is surrounded by pine trees and wildlife including elk and wild horses. It provides good wifi and 50 amp electricity, as well as good water pressure. The park is quiet, except for occasional military planes or shooting range sounds. It is easy to access national forest hiking, and the park owners are accommodating and friendly. It is a bare bones place, with just utilities, but the weather is cool even in August. The sites are close together, but the view is beautiful and the park is very quiet. The campers are friendly and the owners have a sense of humor. It is convenient to Cloudcroft, Ruidoso, and Alamogordo, yet still feels secluded. Despite the small, tight sites, the park is peaceful and relaxing, and many campers return each year.
