From The Campground

Slide Group Campground is a beautiful camping area located just south of the Village of Cloudcroft in the Lincoln National Forest. The campground has a 90-person capacity and is surrounded by mixed evergreen and aspen trees. The site offers access to the National Recreation Rim Trail (T105) and has a pavilion with tables, fire rings, toilets, and garbage depositories. RVs are limited to 35 feet. The campground is available by reservation only through Recreation.gov. The nightly fee ranges from $100 to $125 depending on the number of people. Amenities include accessible pavilion and restrooms, tent camping, camping trailer, picnic tables, toilets, and parking. Potable water is available, but there is no drinking water. The closest town is Cloudcroft. The campground is open from mid-May to September 30 and is operated by a concessionaire. Reservation is required through Recreation.gov.
