Sugar Pines RV Park is an RV campground located near Cloudcroft, New Mexico. The park is on a steep hillside with uneven gravel walkways, driveways and stairs, making it difficult to maneuver large RVs. The park does not offer many amenities, but does have hookups, cable and wifi. Unfortunately the park does not take credit cards and the advertised indoor lounge area is non-existent. The park also has some junk scattered in the sites, and the retaining wall between sites is rotted and collapsed. Despite this, the park is located in a quiet and beautiful natural setting with deer, elk, wolves, and other wildlife wandering through. The park staff are friendly and accommodating and while it is more expensive than other campgrounds in the area, it is worth the visit.
