From The Campground

McCrystal Campground is located in Valle Vidal elk/bear country and offers 55 campsites for tents and trailers. The campground is a great destination for hunting, hiking, and fishing. Visitors can also enjoy wildlife viewing and a self-guided trail to a pioneer cabin at the campground entrance. The historic Ring Place Ranch is also nearby. Amenities include picnic tables and vault toilets. Water from the creek is not recommended for drinking. Horse campers can enjoy 6 campsites and horse waste disposal is available for $5. The campground is open from May through November.
