From The Campground

Conchas Lake Recreation Area is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and offers a variety of recreational opportunities such as camping, hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, and water activities. The park features two separate day use picnic areas, a water access point boat launch ramp, and a campground. Park fees include a $5 fee for the Southside Water Access Point Day Use/Boat Launch, and a $10/night fee for the Southside Campground. America the Beautiful Passes are accepted and cover the day use fee and provide a 50% discount on camping fees. Fishing is also available at the lake. Geocaching is permitted on Corps lands with express knowledge and approval of the project manager. Contact Conchas Lake for details. The park is located in Conchas, New Mexico and can be contacted at 575.868.2221 or Conchas@usace.army.mil.
