This campground is a true campers paradise! Nestled in the mountains between Cuba and Jemez Springs, the campground is surrounded by tall ponderosa pines and a small creek flows through the area. With 12 sites available, the campground is relatively small and quiet. The sites are all paved, with a mix of larger spaces for RVs and smaller spots for tents and pop up trailers. Each site has a level concrete pad and a tent pad. There is no power, but water is available at a communal spigot. There are also two vault toilets and a fresh water hand pump. Cellular connectivity is nonexistent, making this a great place to get away from it all. Weekends are usually booked if not reserved in advance, so plan ahead for a perfect getaway!

From The Campground

Clear Creek Campground is a beautiful campground located in the Santa Fe National Forest. The campground is situated at an elevation of 8,500 feet and offers visitors a chance to experience the beauty of the surrounding forest. The campground has 4 single sites and 13 RV sites, all of which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The campground is open from May to October and offers visitors a chance to enjoy a variety of activities, including camping, fishing, and hiking. The campground is equipped with vault toilets and a potable water system. Visitors can also take advantage of the 50% discount offered to Interagency Senior Pass and Access Pass holders. The campground is located 11 miles east of Cuba, NM and is easily accessible by car. Reservations can be made through Recreation.gov during the high season of use.
