West Lake RV Park is a cozy family-owned campground located in Eagle Nest, New Mexico, adjacent to the beautiful Eagles Nest Lake and State Park. The park is small but the FHU sites are spacious, all back-ins and plenty big for large RVs. The sites are a bit tight and some need leveling, but it is nothing that cant be handled. The park is filled with repeat summer customers and the atmosphere is like a neighborhood, as everyone is very friendly and helpful. Glenda, the owner and manager, runs a tight ship and the hookups all work flawlessly. There is a laundry available, a covered picnic table at each site, and a huge open-air patio where people congregate and get to know each other. Potlucks and fish fries are held weekly, and the park area is neat and clean. The owners are onsite and always make sure their patrons are doing okay. WiFi is available, but a booster may be needed. The view of the lake is great and the family-like atmosphere makes for a great experience.
