From The Campground

The Brown Springs OHV Area is a popular location for rock crawling, where drivers maneuver four-wheel-drive vehicles over very harsh terrain. The area offers a ten-site dry developed campground with a vault toilet, as well as an OHV training area with parking, tot-lot, training pan, skills trail, group shelter, and vault toilet. All overnight use requires a permit, which can be obtained by filling out the Glade Run Recreation Area Camping Permit and emailing it to BLM_NM_FFO_GladeRun@blm.gov. Firewood gathering and shooting are prohibited, and permits are required for commercial, competitive, and organized group events.
