Rob Jaggers campground is a great spot for camping near Fort Stanton and Lincoln, NM. It offers 60 miles of horseback riding trails and a beautiful night sky full of stars. The campground was recently renovated in 2021, and now offers a variety of campsites with water and electric hookups for only $20 a day. There are pull thru sites and corrals for horses, and a dump station for $30. The sites are spacious and spread out, and the campground is very quiet and safe. There is a camp host at the entrance, and cell service is available in the area. It is a great spot for visiting the local historical sites and exploring the countryside.

Rob Jaggers Camping Area is a beautiful campground located in Fort Stanton, New Mexico. The campground offers 27 full-service campsites, 1 group shelter, and corrals at some sites. There are also 2 vault toilets and 1 dump station available. The campground is open year-round and offers great amenities for visitors to enjoy. The Cave is currently closed to recreational caving to protect vulnerable bat population from White Nose Syndrome. There is a display about Fort Stanton Cave located in the museum at the Fort Stanton Historic Site.
