Sumner Lake State Park is located on the grassy plains and offers a variety of activities such as boating, swimming, fishing, wildlife viewing, and birding. The park has 50 developed campsites, including 15 electric campsites, 1 electric campsite with 50 amp service, and 15 water and electric campsites with 30 amp service. There are also primitive camping options available, including shoreline camping and boat-in camping. The park features boat docks, three boat ramps, a group picnic shelter, a visitor center, and exhibits. Restrooms with water, showers, and vault toilets are available. The park is open year-round and offers a relaxing getaway for visitors.
