Grants KOA Journey in Grants, NM is a great stopover for those traveling on I-40. The park offers level, gravel, and plenty long enough sites for rigs of all sizes. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the park is well maintained. The parks best amenity is the dinner service, which includes several entrées, sides, and free continental breakfast, and the food is delivered directly to your site. KOA also provides free WiFi, showers, laundry, and a short (approx. 1/3 mile) walking trail. The park does have some noise from I-40 and the occasional train passing by but that is to be expected. The surrounding area has lots to offer, including the Ice Caves/Bandera Volcano, El Morro National Monument, and El Malpais National Monument.
