From The Campground

Nestled in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains at 8,000 feet in elevation, Morphy Lake State Park is a hidden lake that sits at the edge of the Pecos Wilderness. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout and offers excellent fishing. Canoeing is also a popular activity, and this pristine scenic spot offers a unique opportunity for camping. Due to parking and campsite size limitations, the maximum RV length allowed is 18 feet. Camping is on a first come first serve basis.
