Volunteer Park Travel Campsite is a small military campground located in Las Cruces, NM. A 4-threaded sewer connection is located near the water hookup. Dumpsters are available in the campground/playground area. The bathroom and shower facilities were under renovation, but showers were available at the nearby Bell Gym and Aquatics Center. A large playground is located near the campsite, and some OTA channels are available on TV. There is no Wi-Fi available in the campground. High winds can be experienced while staying at the campsite, but the views of the mountain ranges that surround the area are beautiful. The campsite is on a quiet end of the base, making it a tranquil and peaceful place to stay.
