What others are saying about this campground
Bosque Birdwatchers RV Park in Los Lunas, New Mexico is a basic campground with gravel sites and water and electrical hookups scattered throughout. The park has only a few long-term rentals with numbered sites limited up to 5. Although the site provides a convenient sewer hookup, the amenities are limited with only one toilet each for men and women and one RV-sized shower for the entire park. There are no picnic tables or fire pits available, however, the sites proximity to the sanctuary and local restaurant, The Owl Bar and Cafe, make it a suitable option for birdwatchers visiting the nearby Bosque del Apache. On a positive note, our stay was made easy by the owner who helped us find the entrance to the park at night and guided us to our clean and level site with everything in good working order.

From The Campground

Bosque Birdwatchers RV Park is a pet-friendly campground located in San Antonio, New Mexico, less than a quarter of a mile north of the entrance to Bosque Del Apache. The campground offers 35 RV sites with full hookups, 30/50 amp electric, water and sewer, and 25 pull-throughs. Tenting space is also available. The campground has bathrooms and showers, and rates range from $35/night for 30amp to $550/month for 50amp. The campground is open all year and offers a quiet and inexpensive stay. The owner, Billy, is an excellent host and the campground is managed by him. The campground is surrounded by nature and is a great spot for birdwatching. The early morning is the best time for the many songbirds lurking along the bush and tree edges of the campground and the large flocks of the migrating Sandhill Cranes & Snow Geese passing overhead. The campground is also close to several other RV parks in the area.
