From The Campground

Bear Trap Campground is a small 4-unit campsite located in the Cibola National Forest and National Grasslands. The campground is without water but is popular due to its cool mountain setting and proximity to Withington Lookout, which is 2 miles away. The campground is closed under area and road closure 03-02-03-32-01 until December 31, 2023, unless rescinded for the purpose to protect public health and safety from post wildfire hazards and flooding.
