There are also plenty of hiking trails nearby, and the campground is a great spot for rock climbing in the Socorro area. Unfortunately, there is a lot of strange traffic at night, which may be related to drug deals, so it is important to be aware of your surroundings. Despite this, the campground is still a great spot for a peaceful and unplugged camping experience.
