What others are saying about this campground
This campground is the perfect spot for a peaceful, quiet getaway. Located off the main road and adjacent to a lake, the campground features large, relatively flat grass lots with plenty of space for camping. There are a few picnic tables, garbage cans, and pit toilets located in the camping area, and recycling is available at the entrance. Fishing and trolling motor boats are allowed when there is water, and pets are welcome on leash. The campground is a great spot for car camping, and can also accommodate large rigs. The night sky is filled with stars, and the sunsets and sunrises are beautiful. Cell service is good with AT&T and T-Mobile. The only downside is the lack of facilities, but the area is kept clean and mowed. Wildlife abounds, and the campground is only a 30 minute drive from Capulin Volcano and Sugarite State Park.
