From The Campground

James Canyon Campground is a small site located along US 82 just west of Mayhill, NM. The campground offers 5 single sites with picnic tables, grills, and one group shade covering. The lower elevation of 6,800' means this small site is usable longer than most Sacramento Mountain area campgrounds when the snows begin. The campground is free and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. RVs are limited to 16 feet in length. There is a vault toilet available on site.
