Bonito Hollow RV Park & Campground is a quiet and peaceful campground nestled in the Rio Bonito valley with a gurgling river running through it. The generously spaced sites, gravel and fairly level, offer water, power, and sewer hookups that work without issue. Though some sites offer limited shade, the air conditioning keeps the trailers cool. You can hike to the river which is clear and moving, but it is more of a creek. This is a lovely place for a long weekend stay at a smaller park with all the amenities, except that tents are not allowed. The new covered pavilion which sits by the river is best used in warmer weather, and the side of the pavilion is open. There is an enclosed dog park and a small park and trail beside the river with cute sculptures and decorations. One can enjoy feeding the horses that graze on the grounds, and the lack of noisy neighbors or noisy anything but the water. You drive across a bridge over the river to get to your site, and the host leads everyone to their site in a utility cart regardless of any lack of cell service.
