GenieSummary

This campground is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway! Located right next to the Pecos River, it offers beautiful hiking trails, fishing spots, and plenty of shaded spots with fire pits and picnic tables. The campground is clean, with vaulted toilets and bear-proof trash cans, but no water, so be sure to bring your own. The fee is only $8 per night, making it a great value. It can get busy on the weekends, so its best to arrive early to get a spot. The area is also close to town and Santa Fe, and offers great views of the surrounding scenery. There are plenty of spots to camp, and the road to get there is passable by smaller vehicles. Be sure to keep an eye on your food and keep your dogs under control. Overall, this campground is a great option for a weekend getaway!
