From The Campground

El Caso I-IV Campground is a partially developed, shady campground located at the east end of Quemado Lake, approximately .25 miles east of the Piñon CG. It is nestled in a valley stretching alongside an intermittent stream and is surrounded by ponderosa pine and cottonwood trees. The campground offers 22 sites for tent and self-contained RV camping, each with a table and fire ring. The tent sites do not have developed tent pads. There is no fee for these campgrounds. The campground is open from May 1 to September 30. The Quemado RD recommends that if a storm is coming that visitors vacate the campground or risk being stuck.
