From The Campground

Cabresto Lake Campground is a small campground located in Carson National Forest, surrounded by high peaks and overlooking the 15-acre Cabresto Lake. The campground has 9 single campsites for tent or truck campers, and a vault toilet. It is open from May through September, weather dependent. The last 2 miles on Forest Road 134A are on a primitive road. Cabresto Lake is one of the few places in NM for catching brook trout. The campground is also a great starting point for hiking trails, including Trail #82 Lake Fork Trail, and for picnicking.
