What others are saying about this campground
Bottomless Lakes State Park in Roswell, NM is a scenic destination with red rocks and a blue lake, making it a beautiful place to camp. The sites are roomy and provide plenty of space to park your truck and RV. Hookups worked well, though the sewer may be a bit far from the water and electric connections. The restroom facilities are clean and decent. Showers have stall doors and a small changing area. There is plenty of wildlife to watch, including a variety of birds. One should keep in mind that goats head stickers are a problem in the desert. But, the park provides easy access to nearby swimming and is an excellent alternative to the campgrounds in Roswell.

From The Campground

Located just 14 miles southeast of Roswell, Bottomless Lakes State Park is your place for bottomless fun! Enjoy non-motorized boating in your kayak or canoe, camp, fish, picnic, swim, hike, go birding or even scuba dive! The unique lakes at this park are sinkholes, ranging from 17 to 90 feet deep. The greenish- blue color created by aquatic plants is what gives the lakes the illusion of great depth.
