From The Campground

Capilla Peak Campground is an 8-unit site located in the Cibola National Forest and National Grasslands. The campground offers great views of Manzano Mountains, Rio Grande, and Estancia Valleys. It provides access to Manzano Mountain Wilderness and Hawkwatch's raptor counting station. The campground is open from April to November and offers tent camping, picnic tables, and vault toilets. The fee for each campsite is $5. There is no reservation required at this site.
