The staff was OK but overall, a boring experience.. Monticello RV Park is a beautiful and quiet campground located close to the lake. It offers boat and RV storage, as well as weekly and monthly rates. The sites are wide and long, and can accommodate any size RV. The campground also offers 50amp and internet for an additional fee, although the internet did not work during the stay. The campground is close to Elephant Butte State Park and Dam, and offers lots of activities in the area. However, the site had large stones on the door side, and the other three sides had stickers that stuck to the bottom of shoes and pant legs. When the campers arrived, there were beer cans hanging in the small pine tree near their site. The staff was OK, but overall, the experience was a bit boring.
