What others are saying about this campground
Ridge Road - Elephant Butte Lake State Park in Truth or Consequences, NM, is a massive and dog-friendly park with a lot to offer. The roads are well-maintained and the park crew is very friendly and welcoming. Visitors have access to a large lake, which includes some great fishing, boating, and hiking opportunities. There are plenty of spots for boondockers, with sites ranging from those with hookups to sites right on the beach. Some FCFS sites on the main road have little covered structures to provide protection from the sun and wind. The park has showers available, although only one set is open during the winter season. A long stretch of beach at the lake allows visitors to enjoy the scenic views and take long walks with their pets. Overall, its a great location with many options for camping and outdoor activities.
