Cactus RV is a no-frills, PA park located in Tucumcari, New Mexico. It is the nicest campground in town, situated on the old US 66 and near downtown. It is the site of the old Cactus Motor Lodge built in the 1930s, and features level gravel pull-throughs with plenty of room for slides, and big rigs are welcome. It offers excellent water & electric, free Wi-Fi, cable, and full hook-up. The owner/hostess is very gracious and helpful, and the campground is neat and clean. It has a great fire pit area for gathering, a small gazebo, bird baths and feeders, and park benches. There is a wonderful restaurant, Dels, within walking distance, and the campground is very reasonably priced with passport.
