There is also some nearby dairy farming, but the occasional smell and Interstate noise are not too disruptive to the peace and comfort of the RV park. Despite some sewage issues reported by other travelers, our experience was positive.
From The Campground
Western Skys RV Park is a year-round campground located 15 miles from Las Cruces, NM and 20 miles from El Paso, TX. The park has 71 total pull-through RV sites that can accommodate any size RV, all of which have full hookups with 15/20/30/50 amp service. Tent sites are also available. The park offers a WiFi hotspot, internet hookup, and courtesy phone available in the office, dump station, water, sewer, handicap accessibility, laundry, BBQ, picnic area, playground, RV storage, propane, ice, large nature trail with dog walk, basketball, horseshoes, volleyball, and a view of the Oregon Mountains. The park is big rig friendly and pets are welcome. However, the PA discount is not valid on Friday and Saturday nights. There are no restrooms or shower facilities. Visa, MC, and Debit Cards are accepted. Check-ins after 2 pm are subject to an additional $1 per adult and $0.50 per child, and check-outs after 11 am are subject to an additional $2 charge. There is also a $1 additional charge per day for Wi-Fi.
