El Rancho in Vaughn, NM is a simple and convenient RV park located right off the highway. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The site only offers full hookups, but it is clean and safe for an overnight stay. There are six pull-through sites available with 50/30/12 electric, water & sewer. There is also easy access to a nearby Allsup truck stop. The park is far enough south of the highway to avoid traffic noise, and even though there is a train on the other side of Highway 285, it was not bothersome for us. The payment process is by the honor system, and the park is clean and neat, although the sites are not completely level. Its a great spot for an overnight stay, but there is not much to do in Vaughn, so its not a place to stay for an extended period.
