Willows On the Lake Campground in Adams, NY is a lovely campground located directly on Lake Ontario. The park is clean and well-maintained with occasional distant traffic noise, but otherwise quiet at night. The sites are mostly level with a sprinkling of gravel and some are shaded with trees. The parks golf course and nearby state park offer additional activities. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing an escort to sites upon arrival. The park includes a laundry room with washers and dryers available. DVD movie rentals, games, and books are available to borrow. Weekend activities include a wine and cheese event with music. The campground offers SUP boards and kayaks for rent. Verizon connectivity is good and the park has reasonably good WiFi. Most of the park is made up of seasonal sites, but the transient sites are spacious with some even offering glimpses of the lake. There are no playgrounds but there is a concrete basketball court and volleyball net. Pets are well-controlled and visitors are respectful of quiet time.
