Established in 1865, the resort offers lakefront cottages for rent that are clean, Adirondack rustic, and fully equipped for guests' enjoyment and comfort. The resort provides boating, fishing, hiking, a playground, and a recreational building for guests. Douglas Resort & Campground is 25 miles from Lake Placid, 25 miles from Saranac Lake, 13 miles from Whiteface Mountain & the North Pole, and 80 miles from Montreal, Canada.
