Alps Family Campground is an older park located in a quiet and beautiful wooded area. It offers mostly seasonal campers with about a dozen overnight sites plus a separate tent area that is nicely setup near a small pond with spillway. The park has 30amp full hookup service, clean bathrooms, laundry house, firewood and propane on site. On the weekends they have hayrides, and there is a rec room with arcade games and a pool table. The park is very quiet, with some minor noise on the weekends from the pavilion (music and such) but nothing crazy and ended by 9:30/10pm. The park is in need of upgrading, and many sad looking rigs that havent been washed, never mind moved, in decades can be seen. There is an unsafe (in our opinion) electrical hook-up that had widely varying power levels through it, so the use of a generator is recommended.

Alps Family Campground is located in a beautiful, quiet country paradise just minutes from Albany and Troy, NY. They offer a variety of sites for RV and tent camping, as well as camping cabins. All sites have a fire ring, picnic tables, water, and electric. Additionally, there are many sites that include sewer hookups. The campground offers a range of amenities, including a gift shop, activity pavilion, video arcade, free hot showers, firewood, basketball area, softball field, weekend hayrides, hiking trails, fishing pond, horseshoe pits, ice supply, propane, dumping station, laundromat, swimming pool, and playgrounds near the green. They also offer a variety of activities, such as hayrides and theme weekends throughout the season.
