Golden Hill State Park is a beautifully landscaped and well-maintained park located in Barker, NY. The park sits on the banks of Lake Ontario and has an interesting historic lighthouse that visitors can tour. The park is easy to navigate and offers pull-through sites with electric and water hookups in Loop B that are near the lighthouse and have a view of the lake, but are close together. Loop C sites, on the other hand, are more private and back to the lake. The restroom facilities are well-maintained and clean. There are trails for hiking and a boat launch nearby. The park is popular with local campers who return frequently to enjoy the beautiful sunsets, large grassy areas, and stunning lake views. Overall, it is a great spot for campers who are looking for a picturesque camping experience on the lake.
