Benchmark Hideaway is a rustic and quiet campground managed by the friendly and helpful Samantha & Brian. The sites are spaced nicely with plenty of trees for shade and the pool, mini golf, and playground are all clean and accessible. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they are willing to loan out a converter and water hose if needed. Unfortunately, there is some trash strewn at the entrance and along the access road and the pond is covered in green sludge. The dirt roads are narrow and have numerous potholes, and the permanent sites trailers are covered in mildew. The staff rarely answer their phone, and there is no TL or Woodalls listing for the campground.
