This campground is located on Fish Creek, the outlet for Oneida Lake, and is about 2 miles from Sylvan Beach. It is a great spot for camping as it is close to water and boat launch, and features a picnic table and fire ring. The area is very pretty and near a nice little town with restaurants, tourist attractions, and a nostalgic amusement park and arcade for small children. Syracuse, Utica, and Rome are all about a half hour away. There is no pool or real swimming access, and the things to rent are either broken or run down. There are also issues with quiet hours, as other campers are often loud past midnight. Upon checkout, a refund is available for the difference between a sewer and non-sewer site fee.
